Launched Saturday June 5, the new Saffron TV weekly news show Saffron India Khabbar bringing viewers coverage of a kaleidoscope of events in the Indian sub-continent. Viewers can expect to see a vibrant "News" show, which brings highlights of current news items from India covering myriad topics including entertainment, politics, business, sport, religious events, and travel.
Saffron India Khabbar is locally produced in a partnership with ANI (Asian News International) - South Asia's leading multi-media news agency. Saffron TV locally assembles a weekly news programme that opens up a window on India.
News stories selected are basically those that viewers will enjoy and want to see - interesting, unusual, human interest stories about business, entertainment and community projects.
