Great News! The Saffron TV Team is off to the IIFA Awards in Sri Lanka from 2 - 4 June, 2010. We have put together a fantastic team to cover IIFA 2010, again headed by Shalandra Benseellal, and including Dinisha Baldeo (Creative Director at Saffron and presenter of Jukebox, and other shows) as a second presenter, Stephen de Kock (Head of Production) and Aleeshia Naidoo (Channel Manager) as producers, with two camera and sound engineers and a stills photographer to document the journey for print media purposes.
Our vision and commitment is to give our local audiences the best of Indian content, and Saffron TV will be broadcasting shows (Star Attraction) from this, the greatest event in Indian Cinema. With two cameras on board this time, we can effectively film even more of the myriad presentations, shows, people and events that are part of the exciting 2010 IIFA Awards programme.
The first Star Attraction show from IIFA will go on air on Saturday June 12, at 19h00 repeating during Open time on Channel 456 on Sunday 13 June at 15h30.
