  1. SoLikeLife on VUZU.TV

Ochre Moving Pictures is proud to announce that SoLikeLife is now hosted by VUZU.TV. The series is available in the form of downloads on VUZU.TV’s MXIt platform, as well as on the channel’s website. You can follow the series on Twitter and on Facebook.

SoLikeLife tells the story of a group of 20-something South Africans living today's frenetic Jozi lifestyle. Brad and Tahnia meet after a dare, fall in lust and are drawn into a relationship, within a virtual world that plays out on their cellphones. While the storyline has all the hooks of a traditional soap in the form of drama, romance and comedy, SoLikeLife breaks the conventions of traditional TV by being presented from the perspective of the characters - giving viewers a fly-on-the-wall, voyeuristic perspective of a relationship unfolding in a digital age.

VUZU.TV, launched on 01 July 2009, is not only an innovative TV channel but is also looking 360 as it gears up at increasing interactivity through locally produced content, available online and through various interactive platforms.

  3. Ochre Media is very pleased to see that the two television productions that they have made for SABC 1 - namely KWANDA and RELATE, are both positioned in the top 12 productions for the year for the channel, as seen in the following media announcement by SABC1. This is especially encouraging considering that the SABC Top 12 includes sporting programmes, international content and movies.

"We at SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho are very proud and highly encouraged by the continuing support received from our viewers during 2009," says Acting General Manager SABC1, Leo Manne.

"The year has been a challenging one on us particularly and on the television landscape generally. However, the channel ensured that our viewers are kept entertained and informed through a programming line-up that catered for an interesting mix of viewers' favourites as well as fresh and new exciting shows," commented Leo.

"Our fresh and innovative programming mix during 2009 included the following titles which kept viewers glued to their screens: Relate; Precious Africa; Kwanda; The Kids Are All Right; Da Kink in my Hair; Society II; Confederations Cup 2009; My Wife and Kids; Lira in Concert; So You Think You Are Funny; Imagine Africa; Alias and our hot movie line-up, to name but a few".
