TIMES FOOD TV

Food TV - A 40 part restaurant review and "how to" series produced for the Times online website. Hosted by renowned restaurant owner and food critic, Andrea Burgener, we explored 40 of Gauteng's top restaurants, met the owners, tasted the food and saw "how to" prepare the chef's signature dishes.

The online interactive experience enabled viewers to watch the video, read reviews, view menus and submit reviews and ratings of their own.

Y-CHOICE

Y-Choice is an interactive soap designed for mobile & Internet viewing. The show is a multi-platform experience that gives viewers the opportunity to make life-altering choices in the virtual world - before making them in the real world.
Who do you trust? How much is enough? Party? Have sex? Be responsible? Which way to go, who can you ask? So many important decisions about your life and no one to guide you… Until now.
It is one of the first interactive, behavioural-change, mobile experiences for young South Africans. The 'mobisodes' are available daily on the subscriber's mobile phone. A key feature is interactivity: at key points in the story, users make a decision for the character and then watch the consequences play out in the lives of the soap characters.

Y-Choice won best multi-platform co-production concept on a human rights issue at Content 360, in Cannes, April 2008. With the help of the competition award grant, Ochre Media has produced a prototype of the Y-Choice experience in partnership with award sponsor, the National Film Board of Canada. The series is aimed at 16 - 24 year olds.

SOLIKELIFE

SoLikeLife, is South Africa's first mobile soap, and premiered on the Vodaphone Live portal in September 2008, with sponsorship from Nokia and Vodacom. This innovative digital mobisoap is delivered daily via cellphone, in 40 mobile episodes. It's the story of relationships, aspirations and dramas as experienced by a group of twenty-somethings living today's frenetic Jozi lifestyle.

Rocker and lead singer of Paradox Brad and corporate mover Tahnia attempt make-up sex on the boardroom table but break up one last time when Tahnia realizes that Brad will never be the guy for her. Brad's heart is broken and he finds solace in his music. Tahnia wastes no time and makes moves on her IT guy, Hack. Sexy Caryn gives her married boyfriend an ultimatum - either leaves the wife or the affair is over. Big spender Kash maxes out his credit card as he wines and dines the new love of his life. Despite the credit crunch, he's going to make a lot of money on the next (and first) house he sells. As usual, nothing much happens with Eric but as long as stuff is happening in his friends' lives, he's going to make the movie of his life...

In a new partnership with South Africa's only dedicated youth channel, VUZU.tv, SoLikeLife Season 2 will be available as a true multi-platform experience on web, mobile and TV.
